What turns you on when you listen to music? Does it tickle something in your brain? If it throws you off-center is that a good thing? We all experience music that moves us, we just find it in our own ways. Sometimes it just shows up. Sometimes you have to seek it out. Many times your friends turn you on. Other times, you’ve taken the time to expand your listening realm.
When archaeologists try to divine clues from the past, they dig through geological stratas of earth to look at the lithic records. A history. A memory. A time stamp. A fossil buried deep underground. A forgotten moment. A lost time.
Lithic Records is a creative vessel for music culminating from Seattle and the Pacific Northwest. The goal is to have a foothold in the music community and offer a variety of artists and groups with the common thread being – a little off.
