Noisy Stuff From the Pacific Northwest and Beyond

T.R.O.U.T. – Herniated Disco

During the initial decades of humankind’s societal decline on the planet formally known as Earth, certain musicians, artists, and audio agitators combined efforts to meditate on entertainment for the wellness of being it brought their friends, family, and themselves…

One such communal effort, came from the Pacific Northwest region of the former United States of America, (at least that was it’s name long ago.) A place within a place, that seemed to hold a value system that united the disenchanted in solidarity from the displacement of the coming years of Gloomtocracy. A time of hopeless slavery before the impending extinction. But that’s a story you’ve heard a million times…

These improvisational pioneers bushwacked their way into the wilderness of the mind, to find pathways to the caves and caverns of cognitive existence and unknown dimensions. Perhaps the goal was a sort of enlightenment, but I’m afraid we can never know for sure.

They went by the name of T.R.O.U.T. An evocation of the beautiful beast of the fresh water tributaries of these vast open spaces of which they held dear in those times. Always moving through rivers, streams, lakes; these magnificent species were a food resource for native peoples before time was calculated. Navagating currents with congruence where humankind’s footprint was just an inconvenient afterthought.

Let it be recorded that these musicians and artists did not claim the need for commercial compensation. Rather, their ambitions lied in the unraveling of artistic freedom through sound and composition. But if you bought a tape it wouldn’t kill ya…
