Barnacle is the noisey side-project of label owner Brent Carpenter. Time Bum is the fourth release from this outfit and this time around spent some time in a pro studio environment. Eric Padget recorded and co-produced these tunes at Recreational Psychoacoustics Lab in North Seattle, WA. Eric also added some insturmental elements like synths, and horns. The result is a rhythmic romp and an insturmental journey through the vastness of with a light-hearted vibe through a politically tainted wasteland that is/was 2024/25! This record is equal parts Kraut-rock riffage and Bladerunner wildernesses with live drums, bass, synths and guitars with samples and added percussion.
