Harnessing other-worldy sounds, combined with sparse guitars and electronic noises while embracing hypnotic drones and repetition… These are the artistic tools employed that feed the madness that Swingsets brings to the table.

Swingsets lauched the single “Funeral Ban” in the summer of 2020, which would become the first release of many, from this unique musical outfit. In December of 2020, Swingsets self-released it’s first full-length… “KEPT” It’s a beautiful deconstructive study in electronic minimalism, employing noise elements, distorted drum machine beats and akward guitar loops. The following spring, Seattle label Drongo Tapes, of lo-fi underground fame, released it on cassette. Since KEPT, they’ve released 4 more albums and a handful of singles and EPs.

Now in 2024, Lithic Records linked up with Swingsets for an album called “LACK” which features minimal, haunting guitar lines and atmospheric environments.
